Artist Monte Schatz takes a break in Silver City, N.M., with a bevy of Australian bearded lizards, which sometimes curl up with him while he’s watching television. Schatz’s unique creations are inspired by the changeable, frequently chilling, always interesting characteristics of reptiles.
