Masked Man Robs Kellogg Restaurant

A robber wearing an orange face mask took an undetermined amount of money from the Humdinger Restaurant about 10 p.m. Friday.

Police are still searching for the man, described as about 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing dark clothing and the mask. The robber confronted an employee who was outside cleaning about 10 p.m. and forced her back in the restaurant at gunpoint.

He ordered another employee to put money from the business into a bag, and put the two employees into the bathroom before fleeing.

Kellogg police say they do not know if the suspect had a vehicle. They are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time or know anything about the robbery to call the police department at 784-1131 or the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department at 556-1114.
