Boy Hit, Robbed In Riverfront Park
A 15-year-old boy was beaten and robbed Tuesday in Riverfront Park, police said.
The boy was walking in the park at about 11 a.m. when he was punched in the face as he rounded the corner of a restroom.
He fell to the ground and was punched again. The boy told police a man went through his pockets and took $3 and a lighter.
The robber is described as white, about 6 feet tall, 180 pounds. He was wearing a light-colored T-shirt.
