Corbin Offers Workshops

Time for families to get those artistic juices flowing. A new quarter begins at Corbin Art Center June 15.

This year’s Corbin Kids Summer Workshop Program features weekly art and craft workshops for children ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 11.

Workshops in drawing, painting, clay, crafts, construction, mixed media, architecture, design, papermaking and silk screening are available through the summer.

Students can attend up to four workshops each week, as well as a supervised brown bag lunch period.

Teen and adult classes in such topics as watercolor painting, fimo beadmaking, calligraphy, photography and candle making are also available. The classes are both day and evening.

The Corbin Art Center is located in the historic Daniel Chase Corbin House, 507 W. Seventh.
