Ruthann Goldsmith of Scottsdale, Ariz., gives it everything she’s got in trying to get out of a huge vat of mashed potatoes at the Queen Creek Potato Festival held at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, Ariz. The festivities also offered a slingshot competition and potato sack races among a host of goodfy pursuits.
