Water District Offices Move

The Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District’s administration offices have moved to 22510 E. Mission.

Formerly known as the Liberty Lake Sewer District, the agency now has a newly constructed $800,000 building and five times as much office space for district workers, who had been using storage and lunch rooms as offices in recent years.

The building includes a meeting room available for community gatherings. Groups interested in using the room, which seats 100, should call the district at 922-5443.

The former headquarters, at 1926 N. Harvard, will be used as a treatment plant office for the chief operator.

Web site design firm opens

A web site design and promotional services company has opened in Veradale.

Artistic Design & Internet Marketing Inc. designs Web sites, as well as logos, letterheads, business cards, advertisements and other products for businesses. The company is owned by Karen Hood, who also owns Icelandic Horse Acres in Greenacres.

The office will hold an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 3. The office is at 507 N. Sullivan Road, Suite A-4.

New retail building going up

Construction is under way on a new 24,000-square-foot retail building at 15735 E. Broadway.

China King Buffet will open a second Valley restaurant in the new building in the spring. Corral West Ranchwear, a western wear clothing chain, will open its first Valley store there. Corral West already has a store in north Spokane.

Three additional retail tenants are being sought for the one-story stucco building, which will be owned by Western United Life Assurance Co.
