Birding Eastern Washington

A three-session course on the birds of Eastern Washington, taught by local birder and artist Maurice Vial, is scheduled this month through the Spokane Falls Community College Institute for Extended Learning. Indoor sessions will be held during the evenings of Oct. 27 and 29 at Shadle Park High School. A full-day field session is set for Oct. 31. Cost: $26. To register, call Sheilah at 533-3770.
