Patrol Car Bashed
A 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday night after he jumped on the hood of a patrol car, smashed his head into the windshield then kicked the glass until it shattered, according to Spokane Police.
Officers had responded to a report of two men fighting when they found the teenager sitting in the middle of the street near Second and Adams.
The teenager jumped up and assaulted the car. It took three officers to handcuff the boy as he repeatedly kicked, bit and scratched them.
Twenty-year-old Jason Wade Sand interfered with the arrest, according to police. He was arrested and booked into jail for obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.
The 17-year-old boy was booked into juvenile detention for malicious mischief and assault.
