More Than An Eiffel

Designer and fabricator Dayon Wall makes sure a giant steel cowboy hat is securely in place on top of the Paris, Texas, version of the Eiffel Tower. The Texas town put up the 50-foot-tall replica several years ago as a tribute to the 984-foot-tall French monument, built in Paris for the International Exposition of 1889. Wall supervised the addition of the cowboy hat, which is ten feet tall and has a brim ten feet in diameter, on Monday.
