Worked as floor layer before back problems led him to become stay-at-home dad. Former chairman of Lincoln County Democratic Party. Currently maintains neighborhood baseball diamond, gardens and cares for 160 fruit and nut trees. Member of Spokane Chapter of American Civil Liberties Union. Married with three children.

Education: Two and a half years of college.
