Freeman, Reardan Win; Showdown Next

Freeman and Reardan are ready to hook up again.

Bryan White rushed for 179 yards on 18 carries and scored four touchdowns and Kelly Custer completed 9 of 11 passes for 119 yards and no interceptions as Freeman (5-2 overall, 3-1 Northeast A League) defeated visiting Colfax (1-6, 0-4) 50-6 on Friday.

Bill Morphy added 68 rushing yards on six carries for the Scotties, who meet seventh-ranked Reardan (7-0, 4-0) on Friday at Freeman with first place at stake.

Reardan won the first meeting with Freeman 13-8 two weeks ago.

Reardan 38, Kettle Falls 18

Reece Jenkin rushed for 71 yards on nine carries and completed 6 of 13 passes for 71 yards as the Indians defeated the Bulldogs (4-3, 1-3) at KF.

Reardan’s Aaron Landreth added 195 yards on 22 carries. Jon Payne of the Bulldogs had 13 carries for 99 yards.
