Political experience: Spokane County commissioner since 1995; planning commissioner for nine years; active in Republican politics; ran unsuccessfully against Pat Mummey four years ago

Finances: Raised $60,000, including $7,950 (inkind) from developer Raymond Hanson; $2,500 from the Real Estate Traders Club of Spokane; $2,470 from Metropolitan Mortgage & Securities Co.; $2,000 from Home Builders PAC; $1,600 from Washington Water Power Co.; and $1,000 each from Cedar Built Homes, Lenore Ann Williams and Robert Taigen Properties.
