Mandela Will Address Un, Talk With Clinton
Nelson Mandela will meet with President Clinton, address the United Nations and receive a medal from Congress during a visit to the United States beginning next week.
The South African president also will visit Canada during the trip, part of a series of farewells to world leaders ahead of his retirement from politics next year, the South African Press Association said.
He will be accompanied by his new wife, Graca Machel.
Mandela is scheduled to leave for the United States next Tuesday and to visit Canada from Sept. 23-26, the news agency said.
