Man Sought In Abduction Try

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who tried to abduct two Valley girls as they walked near Sprague Avenue and Adams Road Saturday night.

The girls, both 13, told police that a white, late-model Ford van began following them just before 9 p.m. Saturday. It stopped next to them and a man inside opened the door and told them to “Get in now.”

The girls ran away and the van headed north on Adams Road, according to police reports.

The girls described the suspect as white, with brown hair and a buzz cut. They were unsure of his age. The van was bright white. Its back windows were blacked out, the teens told police.
