Spotlight: Polo

The Spokane Polo Club, looking for new members, has scheduled two beginner clinics this month to introduce people to the sport.

“You don’t have to have a horse and no experience is necessary,” said Kevin Dix.

Clinics will be held Sept. 20 and 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the polo club grounds off Highway 2 across from the Longhorn Barbecue. Cost is $40 per clinic and there is no age restriction. Horses will be provided.
