Two Arrested In Heroin Bust
Heroin with a street value of about $750 was seized Friday in a drug raid in south Spokane, investigators said.
Sheri M. Keys, 31, Richard J. Hammer, 39, and Raymond S. Thornton, 33, were jailed in the bust.
Keys is held on charges of delivery of and possession of a controlled substance. Hammer is charged with conspiracy to deliver and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Thornton is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Members of the Spokane Regional Drug Task Force raided a home Friday morning in the 900 block of East 37th Ave. after a month-long investigation into drug trafficking there, said task force Lt. Chan Bailey.
Inside the home they found five grams of heroin and a loaded rifle, Bailey said.
