Learn rock climbing at a three-session class offered by the Spokane Parks and Recreation department. The class is designed for youths ages 10-15. Professionals from Wild Walls will lead the classes on Oct. 19, 21 and 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $36 and includes all equipment and one week of free climbs after completing the class. Several Spokane-area sexual assault prevention groups have teamed up with Eastern Washington University to present a film about sexual violence. The film, “A Reason to Believe” will be shown at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Spokane Regional Health District Auditorium, 1101 W. College. It is designed for teens and a group discussion will follow.
