Resident Treated After Trailer Fire

A Spokane Valley resident was treated for smoke inhalation Monday after fire destroyed a mobile home in the Foothills area, County Fire District 9 officials said.

The unidentified person was in the trailer at 16525 Scribner Branch Road when the fire was reported about 8:30 a.m.

Firefighters arrived to find the mobile home and a shed in flames. They had the fire under control by about 9:15 a.m., officials said. No other buildings were damaged and no other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, officials said.
