Renner Road Blocked

Thu., April 15, 1999

Colville National Forest officials have blocked the notoriously rough road to tiny Renner Lake, about 2 miles from Barstow in Ferry County.

Money isn’t available to make the road safe, officials said.

Anglers who want to fish for stocked brookies and brown trout in the 9.5-acre lake this year will have to hike about 1/2 mile from the blockage.
