Martina Hingis remained atop the WTA’s weekly rankings in an unchanged top 20 after a weekend of Fed Cup women’s tennis matches.

The 18-year-old Hingis, who missed the Tokyo event and her country’s Fed Cup match against Slovakia, retained her lead over No. 2 Lindsay Davenport.

Amy Frazier made the biggest move of the week in the top 50 after her straight-sets win over Ai Sugiyama at the Japan Open. Frazier climbed four places to No. 31 while Sugiyama remained at 27.

The site and purse for the Lennox Lewis-Evander Holyfield rematch could be decided next month. New York and Las Vegas are in contention for the bout, which will be held Nov. 6 or 13.
