Boat names

From out of nowhere, Misty has emerged as the favorite boat name for 1999, trouncing such long-time favorites as Serenity, Odyssey and Obsession in an annual boat/us annual survey.

Runner-up is Flying Cloud, followed by Serenity, which has been at or near the top of the list since the boat owners association began compiling statistics in 1992.

Ever-popular puns fill out much of the top 10, including Irish Wake, Seas the Day, Gypsea and Luna Sea, plus Wind Dancer, Odyssey and Osprey.
