Detective Seek Dead Man’S Van

Spokane Sheriff’s detectives are asking for help in locating a vehicle believed to belong to the man whose body was discovered in the Spokane Valley on Wednesday.

Investigators have tentatively identified the victim, but are withholding the name until positive identification has been made and next of kin notified.

The man’s body was found behind a business in the 17300 block of East Trent.

Examination of the victim’s dental records may be necessary to accomplish identification, an investigator said Friday.

The vehicle being sought is a white 1993 Chevrolet van with Idaho license plates. The first identifying character on the plate is “1” over an “L,” followed by five more numbers.
