Drivers Asked To Avoid Downtown Streets

The city of Spokane is asking drivers to avoid using Main Avenue, Spokane Falls Boulevard and Lincoln Street near River Park Square today through Saturday.

At 6 p.m. today, crews will begin repaving projects on Main from Lincoln to Post streets, and Spokane Falls from Wall to Monroe streets. Traffic will be delayed through the area and detours may be used.

The work should be wrapped up late Saturday.
