Emergency Training Program Offered In/Around: Logan
Logan neighborhood residents are invited to participate in a free emergency training program.
The eight-week Community Emergency Response Team program covers disaster preparedness for earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and blizzards; how to put out a fire; light search and rescue; basic medical treatment for burns, wounds, fractures and sprains; and disaster psychology.
Classes will begin in late September. Reservations are being accepted through Monday and are available on a first-call basis.
