Valley Assembly Hosts Speaker Duane Parrish

The Valley Assembly of God Church will welcome guest speaker Duane Parrish during its 8:30 and 10 a.m. worship services on Sunday.

Parrish gives an inspirational message on how he regained his ability to read, write and speak following major brain surgery.

All are invited to attend. The church is at 15618 E. Broadway.

Pines Baptist hosts concert

The contemporary Christian group “Truth” will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Friday at Pines Baptist Church. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

The church is at 714 S. Pines Road.

Ice cream social on Sunday

The Women’s Ministries of the Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene will host an ice cream social Sunday following the 6 p.m. worship service. All are welcome.

The church is at 10814 E. Broadway.
