Driver Killed In Freeway Collision

A man driving the wrong way on Interstate 90 near Coeur d’Alene drove head-on into another vehicle, killing himself and injuring two Post Falls teenagers, Idaho State Police said Sunday.

The vehicle entered the westbound lane of I-90 late Sunday, heading east against oncoming traffic. The driver was dead at the scene, about 14 miles east of Coeur d’Alene, ISP said.

The man hit a vehicle carrying two teens, one male and one female. They were treated for injuries at Kootenai Medical Center.

Identities of the man and the teenagers were unavailable.
