Spokane Man Killed In Collision
A Spokane man was killed Sunday night while he was driving the wrong way on Interstate 90 in North Idaho.
James Wallace Holloway, 44, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes about four miles east of Lake Coeur d’Alene’s Wolf Lodge Bay. At 9:05 p.m., he rounded a curve and his Chevrolet Celebrity collided head-on with a Toyota pickup being driven by Tess Maurine Weston, 16, of Post Falls.
Holloway was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s not known whether he was wearing a seat belt.
Weston was taken to Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, where she was listed in fair condition on Monday. Her 14-year-old brother, Eli Weston, was treated and released. Both were wearing seat belts.
