I want to be your city councilman because I feel that I can provide an essential connection between citizens and city government. The city of Spokane needs to develop a vision of what it wants for the next five, 10, 20 years and elect a candidate with the proven leadership skills to bring this community together and make its vision a reality.

Citizens and leaders have spent a lot of time finger pointing and talking about what shouldn’t happen. Now it’s time to add a voice of reason and experience to our City Council so we can start moving forward.

For the past five years I have successfully collaborated with citizens, businesses and developers at the neighborhood level to make the Nevada-Lidgerwood neighborhood a better place to live. Our neighborhood was awarded third place in the Neighborhoods USA “1999 Neighborhood of the Year” contest, beating out communities from across the country. We need that success at City Hall.

This kind of success comes from bringing people together, developing a vision of what we want and working to achieve it. I believe what I’ve been able to do for my neighborhood can be done for the rest of the city.
