Bible Study Classes Being Held At St. Peter Lutheran Church

St. Peter Lutheran Church is preparing to start a 15-week Bible study class developed by Crossways International. Classes will be offered each Monday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and repeated each Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Classes begin Sept. 13 and 15.

Materials for the class are $15. Advance registration is required before Wednesday by calling the church office at 487-4843.

The church is located at 4620 N. Regal.

Parenting class on Wednesdays

Spokane Friends Church, 1612 W. Dalke, is currently offering a parenting class each Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. Topics include positive discipline, developmental stages, accessing community resources and many other parenting tips and techniques.

The free classes are taught by a certified counselor and a registered nurse. They will be offered throughout September. All parents are invited to attend.

Ridgeview party Sunday

Ridgeview Christian Center will host its second annual neighborhood party Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. The gathering will include games, music, food, desserts, clowns and face painting.

The church is located at 5610 N. Ash.
