A 21-year-old Washington State University student was stabbed three times early Sunday morning after he left a Pullman bar, according to Pullman police.

The student left Shakers bar after its 2 a.m. closing and was walking to his apartment on A Street when he was attacked in a parking lot north of Adams Mall, police said.

The victim and the man who stabbed him apparently argued before the attack. Several bystanders broke up the fight.

Not realizing he had been stabbed, the victim walked home. His roommates took him to the hospital about an hour later. He was treated and released. Pullman Police did not release a description of the suspect.
