Vandals Shatter Car Windows, Windshields

From Staff

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for vandals who shattered dozens of car windows and windshields late Tuesday or early Wednesday in northern Spokane County.

Investigators believe the vandals used a gun and a baseball bat to break the windows, sheriff’s spokesman Dave Reagan said in a news release.

Most of the damage occurred in the Camelot, Fairwood, Brentwood and Gleneden neighborhoods, Reagan said.

A resident in the 11800 block of North Atlantic reported hearing four shots about 4:45 a.m. and discovered the windows of his car shattered.

The perpetrators may be charged with a felony if investigators can tie them to all or most of the vandalism, Reagan said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
