Delta Airlines, which last month tried and subsequently dropped a $2 surcharge on non-Web ticket bookings, announced it will offer weekly “Web Fares” that will be posted Wednesday mornings offering discounted travel for that weekend.

New federal regulations will make it easier and faster for farmers to get guaranteed loans, Vice President Al Gore said Monday.

The changes to be published in the Federal Register later this week are designed to reduce the time and paperwork required to approve applications as well as make the loan approval process more consistent.
