Presidents’ Day on Monday is a holiday for some:

Schools: Public schools closed.

Banks: Most branches closed. Some satellite branches in grocery stores and other locations open.

Mail: No delivery.

Government offices: Federal, state and county offices closed. City of Spokane offices open.

Libraries: Spokane city and county libraries open.

Parking meters: Must be fed.

Buses: Spokane Transit Authority service on regular weekday schedule.

Garbage: Pickups continue on regular schedule.

Local journalism is essential.
