NEW FACES:

The following people have been named to the North Idaho Advisory Board of First Security Bank N.A.:

Loren Albright is the owner of Albright & Thurston Construction in Sandpoint. He is a charter member of the Panhandle Building Contractors Association, serving seven years on its board and one year as president. Albright is a member of the board of Rock Creek Alliance and has held various leadership positions with Panhandle Trout Unlimited.

Eve L. Benedict of Coeur d’Alene is a third-generation dealer/operator of Knudtsen Chevrolet Co. Benedict, who was appointed dealer at Knudtsen Chevrolet by GM’s Chevrolet Motor Division in 1995, is active in the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce and recently was appointed to the Chevrolet National Dealer Council.

Shelley L. Bennett is broker/owner of Harden Realty in Moscow. She was licensed as a Realtor in 1979 and earned her broker’s license in 1982. Her activities include serving on the Moscow-Latah Economic Development Council.

Doug Chadderdon is president of C&S Textiles, doing business as Carpet Center in Coeur d’Alene. He is a board member of Concerned Businesses of North Idaho, past president of the National Floorcovering Association and a board member of Carpet Plus of America.

James Hottois is president of Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston. He has served stints as provost and dean of academic affairs at Eastern Oregon State College in La Grande, and an assistant and then associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of San Diego.

Glen A. Cloninger, a Spokane architect, has been elected to the Montana State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Cloninger, who received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from MSU in 1968, is the owner of Glen Cloninger & Associates.

MOVING UP:

Telect Inc. has promoted the following employees:

Cammie Hill was named employment manager. She is responsible for recruitment and job placement, as well as overseeing employee relations, employment records and benefits plans. Hill joined Telect in 1986 and spent the last 10 years in the Human Resources Department, most recently as employment and benefits supervisor.

Brian Liberg was promoted to training and development manager. Liberg, a Telect employee since 1994, oversees the company’s training and development programs, including education, development of career paths, mentorship and leadership efforts. He previously served as a supervisor of training and development.

MOVING:

The U.S. Small Business Administration has moved to 801 W. Riverside, Suite 200, from the former Farm Credit Bank Building, 601 W. First.

TRANSACTIONS:

Fairfield, Conn.-based International Coating and Chemical Co. Inc. has appointed Duke Shawver of St. Maries as a local dealer. Shawver, owner of Duke Shawver Logging Co., will have distribution responsibilities for Poxy Coat II products in the St. Maries area.
