Japan Again Cuts Interest Rates

Seeking to lift its economy out of a dogged recession, Japan’s central bank on Friday cut the country’s already record-low interest rates once again.

The Bank of Japan’s policy board voted to reduce the rate banks charge each other on unsecured overnight loans from 0.25 percent to 0.15 percent - the lowest rate ever.
