Taco Time, Pizza Hut Robbed Wednesday

A North Side Taco Time and Pizza Hut were robbed Wednesday night by gunmen, according to Spokane police.

Around 7:40 p.m., a man pointed a pistol at a Taco Time clerk and demanded money. He took some cash, fired his gun into the counter and ran into the parking lot, witnesses told police.

There were apparently several people waiting in a vehicle when the gunman left, witnesses said.

The suspects were described as one Hispanic and several black teenagers. The Taco Time is at 2410 N. Monroe.

Three hours later, a Pizza Hut at 2909 N. Division was robbed by a Hispanic man with a teardrop tattoo near his left eye, police said.

The man showed a gun, took some cash and ran west on Waverly Place.
