Field Training Avalanche Course

Skiers, boarders and snowmobilers can benefit from a two-day advanced avalanche preparedness course conducted by Peak Adventures. The indoor session is set for the evening of Feb. 26 at Mountain Gear in Spokane. The entire following day is spent outdoors in the Idaho mountains learning avalanche safety techniques. Cost: $150.
