Police Seek Help In Robbery Probe

From Staff Reports

Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a Spokane bank robbery.

A man robbed the U.S. Bank at 102 W. Indiana just before noon on Friday. He handed a note to the teller demanding money, took some bills and left. He did not display a weapon, police said.

In a nearby alley, police found some clothing the man had worn in the bank. The FBI is investigating.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s with a thin build, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with sandy hair and a goatee.

Anyone with information on the holdup is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
