Egghead.Com Aligns With Msn

Spokane-based Egghead.com Inc. signed a deal with Microsoft’s MSN Shopping on Tuesday, making Egghead a “premier computer software merchant” for the site.

As online commerce continues to grow, especially in computer-product sectors, Egghead believes it will benefit by having an MSN presence.

“The Microsoft agreement is important,” Egghead spokesman Jon Brodeur said in a prepared statement. “… We look forward to further increases in our market penetration as a result of this agreement with MSN.”

Egghead’s stock responded positively to the news, closing the day up $1.56 to finish at $18.88.
