Karie Pruett and Amy George combined for 48 points and 21 rebounds Wednesday night to lead Community Colleges of Spokane to an 86-51 NWAACC women’s basketball victory over visiting Columbia Basin College.
Pruett led all scorers with 26 points and pulled down seven rebounds. George finished with 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the floor and led all rebounders with 14. Sara Harchuck added 12 points for CCS (22-4, 9-2 NWAACC), which stayed within striking distance of East Division leader Big Bend (20-7, 10-1).

Jon Chatfield tossed in 22 points and James Kiger added 21 with 10 rebounds to lead the Sasquatch past visiting Columbia Basin in NWAACC play.
Rob DeBeaumont chipped in 12 points and nine boards for CCS (10-14, 3-8 NWAACC).
CBC (11-13, 2-9) was paced offensively by Jesse Binns and Matt Elliott, who combined for 22 points.
