Rap Star Cools It In Eastern Oregon

From Staff

Bad weather in the mountains of eastern Oregon gave Snoop Doggy Dogg a chance to catch up on his laundry at a hotel in this quiet college town.

The popular rap star was traveling to Utah with the reggae band Sublime when poor conditions on Interstate 84 forced their tour bus to stop in La Grande for a day.

The rapper, whose explicit lyrics have stirred controversy, was a quiet and friendly guest and spent part of his stay doing laundry, hotel staff said.

Weather had cleared enough by Friday morning for the rap star and his entourage to get back on the road.
