Lockout Costly For Sonics

Missing the first three months of the season has been costly for the Seattle Sonics.

The team claims a loss of $2.7 million, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported Wednesday. The city of Seattle has lost $1.5 million because of the canceled games at Key Arena, and another half million dollars in tax revenue.
