Jill Cassidy, a staff member of PricewaterhouseCoopers, formerly Price Waterhouse, verifies nomination ballots for the 71st Academy Awards prior to mailing them Friday in Los Angeles. The ballots were sent to the more than 4,000 California-based voting members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
