Gonzaga Prep junior Adam Frankovic made 11 of 20 field goals on the way to a game-high 24 points as the Bullpups beat Rogers 62-54 in a Greater Spokane League boys basketball game Friday at the Arena.
Frankovic, who averages eight points, also had nine rebounds as Prep held a 35-28 edge on the boards, including 17-7 on the offensive end.
“This was a good measure for us to see how good we are,” said Bullpups coach Mike Haugen.
The Bullpups (6-1 overall, 4-1 leaguie) held Rogers to six second-half field goals and 18 of 46 shooting.
“We were outplayed in every phase of the game,” said Pirates coach Rick Mergenthaler. “G-Prep wanted it more than we did I guess.”
