Clint Hordemann scored a career-high 18 points to lead Boise State’s 77-64 road win over UCSB.
Roberto Bergersen, the nation’s second-leading Division I scorer, added 17 points for the Broncos, but was held nine points under his average.
Chris Lynch scored a career-high 18 for the Gauchos.
Santa Barbara tied the game at 39 on a dunk by Lynch with 16:41 remaining. But Boise State responded with a 15-3 run, capped by a 3-pointer from Bergersen, to take a 54-42 lead with 10:01 left.
Brad Bestor scored 17 points, including five 3-pointers, in New Mexico State’s 60-56 victory at Irvine, which shot 29 percent.
Ike Harmon scored 18 points and Mark Murphy added 17 as Fullerton defeated visiting North Texas 72-55.
Mate Milisa scored a career-high 20 points and Ramel Lloyd added 15 for Long Beach State in the 49ers’ 64-55 home victory over Utah State. The 49ers were helped by a 9-0 run in the first half and a 12-2 stretch in the second half.
Jason Williams scored a game-high 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting to lead Pacific’s 82-64 victory over visiting Nevada. Clay McKnight made 6 of 7 3-pointers and scored 18 points for the Tigers.
Lamont Bonner led Nevada scorers with 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the field, and John Burrell added 11, although he missed 8 of his 11 attempts.

Two-time defending champion Northern Arizona improved to 4-0 with its 82-52 home victory over Portland State. Michael McNair had 18 points and Dan McClintock came off the bench to score 15 as the Lumberjacks remained the conference’s only unbeaten team. NAU has won eight in a row overall and 31 of its last 36 conference games. Jason Hartman led the Vikings with 22 points.
Harold Arceneaux scored 15 points and Eddie Gill added 14 points and six assists as Weber State beat Montana 79-61 in Ogden, Utah.
Kevin Sweetwyne scored a game high 26 points and added 11 assists to lead Idaho State’s 94-91 victory over visiting Montana State. Center Nate Holmstadt led the Bobcats with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Around the WCC
Nathan Fast and Alex Lopez each scored 17 points as Santa Clara defeated visiting San Diego 56-43 to break the Toreros’ four-game winning streak.
Delano D’Oyen added nine points for Santa Clara. Fast added six rebounds to lead the Broncos.
Brock Jacobsen was the high scorer for San Diego (10-4, 1-1) with 13 points and Ryan Williams added 12 and led all players with 14 rebounds.
San Diego attempted to get back into the game after going scoreless for the first 4:36 of the second half, going on a 8-0 run that closed the score to 37-31. But the Toreros drew no closer.
Jason Franklin and Chuks Neboh rallied Portland in the final six minutes of the Pilots’ 72-69 victory over visiting Loyola Marymount.
Franklin and Travis Andrews led the Pilots with 13 points apiece and Troy Collins added 11 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Frank Knight made one of two free throws to preserve St. Mary’s 66-65 victory at San Francisco. Eric Schraeder scored 23 points to lead the Gaels, who snapped a four-game losing streak.
