Suspect Sought In Restaurant Robbery

Police are looking for a man who robbed a Hillyard fast-food restaurant employee early Tuesday.

The unidentified employee of Subway, 3516 N. Market, told officers he was taking the trash out about 2:30 a.m. A man followed him behind the building and through a rear door of the restaurant, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money, police said.

He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. Attempts to track the suspect with police dogs were unsuccessful, officers said. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as black, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, wearing a dark ski mask and dark clothing.
