Abc Workers Will Head Back To Work
ABC’s lockout of 2,400 employees ended Friday, following a union agreement to give the network advance warning of any future strikes.
Tom Donahue, a spokesman for the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians, said union members would be returning to their jobs at ABC after 11 weeks on picket lines.
Those employees, who include camera operators, producers and other behind-the-scenes workers, will be back on the job within 72 hours, the network said.
