Boise State forward Roberto Bergersen hit two free throws with 6 seconds left and Cal State Fullerton’s Kenroy Jarrett missed a running layup at the buzzer as the Broncos held on to defeat the Titans 67-66 in Boise. Bergersen finished with 17 points. Mark Murphy led the Titans with 16 points.
B.J. Bunton scored 22 points and hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds left in overtime as UC Santa Barbara shocked Utah State 66-65 in Logan, Utah. The Aggies had their winning streak of 19 straight conference games at home snapped.
Ramel Lloyd tossed in a game-high 32 points and Long Beach State used a late 15-0 burst to come from behind, then held off North Texas 79-72 by hitting 7 of 9 free throws in the final 90 seconds in Denton, Texas. Joe Ervin led the Eagles with 22 points.
Charles Gosa tallied 22 points and the Aggies came back from a 10-point halftime deficit to beat the Tigers 66-61 in Las Cruces, N.M. Clay McKnight topped the Tigers with 26 points.

Casey Frank scored 16 points, including the winning basket with 24 seconds left, as Northern Arizona got by Montana State 74-73 in Bozeman, Mont. The loss was the first at home this season for the Bobcats and put a damper on MSU center Nate Holmstadt’s 27-point performance.
Jason Hartman scored 26 points, 16 in the second half, to lead Portland State past visiting Idaho State 90-69. Odell Stokes topped Idaho State with 22 points.

Jelani Gardner scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half and had seven assists to lead Pepperdine to a 79-70 victory over San Francisco in Malibu, Calif. Kelvin Gibbs scored 17 points and Nick Sheppard added 13 for the Waves. Gerald Zimmerman led the Dons with 31 points, including five baskets from 3-point range. Ali Thomas added 18 points for the Dons, who have lost 10 of their last 11 games after starting the season 7-1.
Ryan Williams made a 3-point shot with 1 second left in overtime to lift San Diego to a 63-62 victory over visiting Saint Mary’s. Williams made the game-winning shot after Eric Knapp of the Gaels, an 83 percent free-throw shooter, missed the front end in a one-and-one situation with 9 seconds left.
Haywood Eaddy scored 23 points and Willie Allen added 22 as Loyola Marymount beat Santa Clara 88-76 in Los Angeles. The Lions matched last season’s win total and extended their home-court winning streak to five games, their longest since the 1991-92 season. The Broncos failed to win at either Pepperdine or Loyola for the first time since the 1989-90 season.
