A vehicle stop for speeding netted a methamphetamine bust early Sunday morning, according to the Idaho State Police.

Jorge Almaguer, 19, was pulled over for speeding one mile east of Lewiston, according to the ISP. Almaguer’s passenger, 21-year-old Andre Ledesma, had roughly 52 grams of methamphetamine with him, worth an estimated $7,000, the police said.

Both men are from Wapato, Wash., and are being held at the Nez Perce County Jail pending a court appearance, the ISP said.
