Neighborhood Meetings

The Northwest Neighborhoods Council will meet tonight from 7-9 p.m. at the Shadle Park Library, 2111 W. Wellesley.

Parks board member Dennis Hession and Parks Department Assistant Director Paul Crutchfield are scheduled to speak about the sale of the property at Northpointe. Also, Ned Hammond of School District 81 will discuss Browne Elementary School construction.

The Chief Garry Park Neighborhood Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Stevens Elementary School, 1717 E. Sinto.

Taylor Bressler of the Parks Department is scheduled to speak about the Parks Department’s role in the city’s proposed fleet facility and operations complex site. Also, a representative from the department of transportation will discuss the North-South freeway.

COPS North Central will hold its monthly meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at the North Central substation, 630 W. Shannon.

Dave Burns of Spokane’s Department of Emergency Management is scheduled to speak about the Y2K problem. All are welcome. For more information, contact the volunteer coordinator at 327-4059.
